Motorized Test Track

A fully modular motorized test track used for HIL testing.

Jun 2025 - Aug 2025 Designed and built a modular motorized test track at Verdant Robotics, a mechanical and electrical system engineered to carry a spraybox assembly and pump continously at field operational speeds overhauling their HIL system and integrating into their testing framework for agricultural robotics.

Engineering Contributions

  • Modular Track Design: Engineered a modular segment system allowing the track to be easily lengthened and reconfigured wihtout too much hassle.
  • Drive and Payload System: Designed a mechanical drivetrain and carriage capable of maintaining field operational speeds while carriny a Spraybox assembly and pump.
  • Electrical Integration: Designed and integrated the electrical system coordinating motor control, power distribution, and sensor feedback across the full track length.
